José Ramón Gutiérrez joined the company as a founding partner in 1987, strongly supporting the development of salmon farming from cultivation to processing and sales, achieving, over the years, significant knowledge in terms of Quality, Safety, and Food Security.

He has been Chairman of the Board of SalmonChile A.G on 2 occasions and several times Vice-Chairman. In 2003, he co-founded the international trade organization SALMON OF THE AMERICAS and has been a member of the Chilean Advisory Council of ENDEAVOR, an international organization that promotes entrepreneurship. During 2012 and 2013, he served as Co-Chairman of the Global Salmon Initiative (GSI), a leadership initiative of the world’s leading farmed salmon producers committed to making significant improvements to ensure the sustainability of the industry.

José Ramón is a widely recognized leader in the Chilean aquaculture industry, who played a key role in the development of new regulations for the Chilean salmon industry. In 2011, he was selected as one of the 30 leading figures in the global aquaculture industry by Intrafish Media Group. Additionally, in 2012, he was recognized by El Mercurio as one of the 100 most respected business leaders in Chile.

Alberto del Pedregal Labbé

Commercial Engineer from the University of Chile and founding partner of the Multiexport group in the early 80s. He began his career in the Research Department of the Banco Colocadora Nacional de Valores and, since the founding of Multiexport Foods S.A., has served as Director.

Additionally, he is a director of Alimex, a company dedicated to the purchase, processing, and export of seafood products. From these positions, he has developed expert-level knowledge in aspects specific to the food industry, such as Safety and Food Security.

Martín Borda Mingo

Martín Borda is a founding partner of Multi X,  since  1983. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Compañía Molinera San Cristóbal S.A., a leading company in the production of flours and compound mixtures for the baking industry and Chairman of the Board of Minera de Salar Blanco, a company specialized in the lithium industry. Martín Borda has an MBA from Roosevelt University of Chicago, where he previously studied Business Administration.

José Miguel Barros was a member of the Board of Multiexport Foods S.A. between 2007 and 2009, to then rejoin in May 2021. He has extensive work experience in financial risk management, serving for more than 34 years in different positions at LarraínVial S.A. Currently, he is also Director of CCU S.A., Viña San Pedro S.A., Construmart S.A. and Stel Chile S.A.

Ricardo Grunwald Aravena

Ricardo Grunwald is a Civil Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has more than 40 years of experience in aquaculture. He joined Multi X in 1992 as Commercial Manager, a position he held until December 2022 and from which he has supported the opening of new markets for the company, innovation and development of new products, accompanying the growth of the aquaculture industry. national in the export of salmon.

Throughout his career, he has been a crucial part of important global initiatives related to the salmon industry. In 2011 he assumed the presidency of Salmon of the Americas, an organization that brings together all the companies in the sector present in the United States market. Likewise, in 2011 he assumed the Presidency of the Board of Directors of the company Alimentos Multiexport S.A. and as of June 2022 he is Director of Salmones Multiexport S.A.

Roberta Valenca

Independent Director

Senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in multinational companies operating across Latin America. She built a distinguished career at The Coca-Cola Company, where she became the first female General Manager in Chile and later served as Vice President of New Businesses. She has led innovation, cultural transformation, sustainability, and circular economy initiatives. She currently serves as President of AmCham Chile and has been recognized as one of the most reputable business leaders in the region.

Patricio Walker Prieto

Independent Director

Lawyer from Diego Portales University and Master of Laws (LLM) in Regulatory Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with extensive experience in regulatory matters, public policy, and sustainability. He has served as a professor in the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program at Georgetown University and currently teaches in graduate programs in Regulatory Law and Environmental Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad del Desarrollo. He is a member of the Senior Governing Council of Diego Portales University (through 2030) and developed a distinguished parliamentary career as a Member of Congress and Senator between 1998 and 2018, during which he served as President of the Chamber of Deputies and President of the Senate, leading key committees on constitutional, environmental, and social matters. Since 2019, he has served as Senior Consultant at VGC Abogados, advising on regulatory affairs, corporate governance, sustainability, and community relations, and since 2023 he has been a board member of the Amparo y Justicia Foundation.

Abel Bouchon Silva

A senior executive with extensive experience in corporate governance, he has held executive management positions in national and international companies, including Embotelladora Andina and LAN Cargo, where he led merger processes, operational efficiency initiatives, and acquisitions. He has also served as a board member of companies such as Cristalerías de Chile, SMU, Cintac, and South African Airways.

Cristián Swett Plá

Cristián Swett has extensive experience in the food industry, beginning at Multiexport Foods in 2001, where he held noteworthy positions such as commercial assistant manager in Japan, business unit manager of smoked products and general manager of Alimentos Multiexport. Since 2012, he has served as general manager of the Ventisqueros salmon farm. In 2016, he became general manager of the multinational dairy company Manuka, maintaining his participation in Ventisqueros as director until February 2021, at which point he became CEO of Multiexport Foods S.A.

Martín Hepp Valenzuela

Martín has 10 years of experience within the organization, a period in which he has served as Financial Controller in Administration and Finance Management, and subsequently became manager of the Value-Added Business in 2018. In 2019, he assumed the Management of the Farming area, leading all our productive operations, including that of freshwater along with sea.

Claudio Vera Silva

Claudio has more than 20 years of experience and an extensive career in the Chilean salmon farming industry. As the current Division Manager of our company, he is responsible for leading the management of the salmon processing operations for our Fresh, Frozen and Smoked Salmon plant.

Francisco is an executive with extensive experience in the Aquaculture sector. He has 21 years of experience at Multiexport, leading teams and strategies that have helped with the approval of environmental projects and obtaining production concessions in southern Chile. Likewise, he has been responsible for directing the company’s sustainability and corporate reputation strategy, as well as developing corporate relationships with stakeholders in different regions of the country and abroad.

José Ramón joined in January 2020 as Manager of Financial Planning and Development, leading the strategic and budgetary planning of the company, the evaluation of development projects, the relationship with the capital market at a national and international level, and the development of the Business Intelligence area. As of May 2021, José Ramón assumes the Optimization, Innovation and Development Management, leading the optimization of the value chain, the management of innovation and the analysis and implementation of development projects. On february 2022 José Ramón assumes as Corporate Administration and Finance Manager.

Before joining Multi X, José Ramón worked 12 years in the financial industry, 8 of them in New York, first at LarrainVial Corredora de Bolsa S.A. and then Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc.
