For the third consecutive year, the company has been nominated for the Seafood Excellence Awards 2025, this time thanks to its Smoked Salmon Charcuterie Board, presented under the Latitude 45 brand.
As part of the 43rd Seafood Expo North America, which will take place from March 16 to 18 in Boston, the organization has announced, as is tradition, the finalists for the Seafood Excellence Awards 2025. Multi X has been named a finalist with its Smoked Salmon Charcuterie Board, which has been nominated in the Best New Retail Product category.
This marks Multi X’s third consecutive nomination for this prestigious award. In 2024, the company was a finalist with its Carbon Neutral-certified salmon fillet, and in 2023, it competed with its Latitude 45 Candy Bites, which was presented at the expo.
Regarding this new finalist nomination, Matías Gutiérrez, Value-Added Manager at Multi X, highlighted that “the continuous development of new products at Multi X stems from our commitment to adapting to evolving consumer needs and trends. We aim to offer suitable solutions that cater to the different lifestyles coexisting today”.
Fernando Pérez, Commercial & Marketing Manager at Multi X, added; “This year, we will be presenting ourselves in Boston under the concept of ‘your salmon solution partner,’ reflecting our ability and commitment to innovating and creating unique, high-value-added products across all our categories, based on the needs of our customers and consumers”.
The Smoked Salmon Charcuterie Board is a ready-to-serve platter, ideal for celebrations and social gatherings. It brings together a variety of Multi X’s smoked salmon specialties, including salmon loin, candy bites, gravlax, and hot-smoked salmon portions, exclusively in a pepper-crusted version.
“This new product, launched under the well-established Latitude 45 brand, features an innovative, disruptive, and convenient packaging design, perfect for sharing. It also maintains the high quality and 100% natural ingredients that define our entire smoked product line, including Atacama Desert salt and traditional Chilean oak-certified smoking”, explains Matías Gutiérrez.
