During the two-day event, participants learned about key strategic aspects of the operation, visited various Multi X facilities, and attended presentations on current and relevant industry topics.

For the fourth consecutive year, Multi X held its Capital Markets Day—an event aimed at strengthening ties with the financial market and deepening understanding of the company’s value chain and strategic challenges. This edition, held on November 13 and 14 at the company’s headquarters in Puerto Montt, brought together 25 executives and analysts from banks, investment funds, insurance companies, and pension fund administrators (AFPs).

Over the course of the two days, attendees reviewed Multi X’s third-quarter results, gained insights into the implementation of key elements of its strategy to date, and discussed market and industry outlooks through 2026. Participants also visited the Multisea post-smolt freshwater facility—the largest in the Southern Hemisphere—and the Remote Feeding Center, where the company centralizes the feeding of its farming sites in Regions X, XI, and XII through state-of-the-art technology and the use of artificial intelligence.

The program featured a keynote presentation by Gorjan Nikolik, Senior Global Specialist Seafood at Rabobank, who spoke on “Global Outlook and Consolidation Opportunities in the Salmon Farming Industry.”

This was followed by a presentation from the Mayor of Puerto Montt, Rodrigo Wainraihgt, on the Salmon Plan 2050—an initiative that brings together the perspectives of public and private stakeholders, as well as industry workers, in the main salmon-producing regions. His presentation led into the panel discussion “The Development of Salmon Farming in the Coming Years,” moderated by Francisco Lobos, Multi X’s Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager. The panel included the Mayor of Puerto Montt; Arturo Clement, President of SalmonChile; Cristián Swett, CEO of Multi X; and Nicolás Vial, Partner at Carey & Allende Abogados.

José Ramón Gutiérrez del Pedregal, Multi X’s Administration and Finance Manager, highlighted the importance of the initiative for the company, stating: “This event allows us to bring our operations closer to the financial market, enabling shareholders and financial institutions to see firsthand the status of our business and the projects under development that aim to maximize shareholder returns and generate future cash flow.”
