Our origins date back to the mid-80s, in Puerto Montt, Chile, where young adventurers saw a great opportunity in the boom of exports that the country was experiencing at the time. In this regard, focus was placed on the X Region, where they began to produce and export seafood, eventually specializing in the supply of salmon exclusively. To this day, we are the historic sea farmers of southern Chile.
Our company is vertically integrated, i.e., running from the areas of salmon breeding to the delivery of a Premium salmon to the final consumer, adding value at each stage of the business chain.
GENETICS AND BREEDING
We have a genetic selection program with our own salmon used specifically for breeding, which are kept in freshwater facilities on land.
FRESH WATER AGING
Includes incubation, fry and smoltification phases. We develop this phase in facilities on land (called hatcheries) where the small salmon or smolt develop until they are ready to be taken to sea water.
SEA WATER
Our fish are kept in farms, where they grow from an approximate weight of 150 grams until they reach the ideal harvest weight, which is around 5 kilograms. Our operations in this phase are developed in the X, XI and XII Region of Chile.
PROCESS
We have 2 processing plants in the X and XII Region, where we are able to process fresh, frozen, and smoked products.
ADDED VALUE
With world recognized brands, we develop and commercialize innovative products according to the needs and trends of consumers and markets around the world.
SALES AND DISTRIBUTION
We ship hundreds of thousands of servings of salmon daily all around the world. More than 30 countries rely on us.
We are witness to positive changes in southern Chile and act as agents of positive change; we are present in the 5 southernmost regions of the country, seeking the development of its inhabitants, districts, and localities. We focus our method of building community relations through the lens of shared values, caring for the environment, and, above all, caring for our own collaborators.
